Description
This course is designed for shooters looking to enhance their skills in speed, accuracy, and positioning. Participants will learn advanced techniques to improve their shooting proficiency under realistic scenarios. The curriculum covers topics such as shooting on the move, rapid target acquisition, timed drills for accuracy, and utilizing proper shooting positions to maximize performance. This course is recommended for individuals with prior shooting experience seeking to elevate their abilities to the next level.
Objectives
Marksmanship Problem-Solving: Cultivate the ability to solve practical and tactical shooting challenges using trigger control and marksmanship skills.
High-Speed Marksmanship: Develop an understanding of "percentage goals," "road map" applications, and "goal setting" to enhance accuracy and speed.
Distance Proficiency: Achieve the ability to score multiple fast hits at distances from near contact to 25 yards.
Strong/Weak Hand Mastery: Gain proficiency in strong hand and weak hand only shooting, critical for high-speed marksmanship scenarios.
Safety Focus: Prioritize safe handling and operation of firearms throughout all training exercises.
Requirements
Prerequisite: Completion of Parabellum Training Group’s Applied Fundamentals class or an equivalent trigger control-based program within the past 36 months. Alternatively, sufficient experience in IDPA/USPSA competition or previous law enforcement/military training.
Pistol: 9MM, .40S&W, .357 SIG, or .45 ACP.
Holster: Kydex belt or paddle holster (NO Blackhawk Serpa holsters).
Magazines: Minimum of 3 magazines (5-6 recommended).
Eye & Ear Protection: High-quality wraparound eye protection and electronic hearing protection.
Additional Gear: Magazine carriers/pouches, daily pistol maintenance supplies, a small first aid kit, appropriate weather-specific clothing, and personal comfort items (e.g., sunscreen, insect repellent, snacks).
Ammunition: 1000 to 1500 rounds.
